Working in groups of five, we selected two architectural case studies—one from a tropical climate and one from a contrasting climate type (Arid, Mediterranean, Temperate Continental, or Polar)—to examine the application of passive sustainable design strategies. We compared approaches in site planning, daylighting, façade design, natural ventilation, and strategic landscaping, and analysed their impact on spatial quality and user experience. The project deliverables included an A0 infographic poster, a 20–25 page A4 landscape booklet with written analysis, diagrams, sketches, and drawings, as well as a five-minute pre-recorded presentation. A peer assessment was also completed as part of the process.
