Reflective Write-Up and Report

Individually, each student was required to integrate passive and active green building strategies into their final architectural studio project. This process began with a visit to a green building, followed by a reflective write-up detailing lessons learned from the visit and insights from Assignment 1, along with plans for applying these strategies in their own design. Passive strategies from the tropical case study in Assignment 1—such as site planning, daylighting, façade design, natural ventilation, strategic landscaping, and renewable energy use—were to be incorporated wherever possible. The final submission included a soft copy of the A4 reflective write-up and an A3 design report in PDF format, documenting the design process and proposal.
